Thanks to Harriet Zaidman for her lovely review of Peg Bearskin in CM: Canadian Review of Materials.  She gives the book 4/4 stars and says it is highly recommended for school libraries.  Of course, most readers would agree that this new edition, with wonderful illustrations by Louisianan artist Denise Gallagher, is a joy to read.  Peg is a strong, tough and inventive heroine, and her story celebrates the true nature of beauty and of bravery.
