Wayzgoose

Traditionally, a wayzgoose was the feast a master printer held for his journeymen to mark the time when they moved to working by candlelight. Contemporarily, a wayzgoose is a gathering at which printers share knowledge and display their work to each other and the community at large. The Book Arts Association of Newfoundland and Labrador has planned several celebrations of printing,  including a variety of events designed to appeal to both those involved in printing and the book arts and to the general public.
