Caroline Clarke is a St. John’s-based graphic designer with a penchant for illustration and printmaking. Since 2004, when she began to make prints, she has had four shows at the Craft Council Gallery and has participated in many local craft and print fairs. One of her favourite commissions over the years has been to create artwork used for the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival. Music and community are her favourite themes.
In 2021 she illustrated The Mystery of the Portuguese Waltzes for Running the Goat, her first children's book. She has also illustrated Lana Shupe's time-travelling, sea-faring middle grade novel The Hippie Pirates, which launched in 2023.
