Check out the Neighbourhood

Spend some time exploring our neighbourhood. There's lots to do and see on our little section of the Irish Loop.  Here are just a few suggestions.

  • East Coast Trail

We're lucky to be located just minutes from one of the East Coast Trail system's most popular trails. Hike the trail, visit an abandoned local community, walk a suspension bridge, find hidden beaches, enjoy seals playing in the surf. Every hike is a joy and an adventure. Check out all the trails.

  • Whale and Puffin Tours

There are several options for whale and puffin tours in the area—all are great. Gatherall's and O'Briens operate out of Bay Bulls; Elaine's B&B offers Zodiac tours from Witless Bay. Closest to our shop is the Molly Bawn, based in Mobile. We especially like this one because it sails past Tors Cove; seeing the community from the water is very special. And of course, there are whales, puffins, turrs, eagles and more. Whoever you sail with, you're sure to have a fabulous trip.

  • Foraging Walks

Local guide Tina White takes small groups out for foraging walks in the neighbourhood, followed by a lovely boil-up on the beach. A fun and tasty opportunity to learn about the bounty that surrounds us.
