Stan Dragland

Originally from Alberta, Stan Dragland lived for many years in St. John’s, Newfoundland. He was Professor Emeritus, Department of English, the University of Western Ontario. He was founder of Brick magazine and Brick Books. He was the author of numerous books of fiction and criticism, and an assiduous editor and tireless supporter of the arts. He was named to the Order of Canada in 2021 for his many contributors to Canadian literature.

12 Bars, published by Running the Goat in 2002, was co-winner of the bp Nichol Chapbook Award.
