Peter Scott is a retired Memorial University of Newfoundland professor, and former curator of the Agnes Marion Ayre Herbarium in St. John's. His research interests include flora of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, plant ecology, and biotechnology. He is author of several books, including Wildflowers of Newfoundland and Labrador.
